Part 3 · Evaluation

How you're assessed

Your hard work won't go unnoticed. Open-book tests, class assignments and a final evaluation are all designed to encourage learning, participation and progress.

End-of-module tests

Seven modules include an open-book online test you complete in your own time, with the help of your notes and recordings, giving teachers insight into where to support you.

Class assignments

Practical assignments tied to an important topic or aspect of your learning, often involving exchanges between students.

Final project875 only

Create a written, audio or visual presentation based on science-informed research and an innovative topic, guided by your mentor from idea to completion. This is part of the 875-hour diploma.

Final evaluation

A live real case-study presentation to your mentor and the programme director, demonstrating your ability to deliver safe, effective yoga therapy, followed by well-deserved celebration.

  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Yoga Alliance or equivalent
  • One year of yoga teaching experience or equivalent
  • One year of personal yoga practice or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, let us know if you need special assistance

All prices are published on the Pricing page in the top menu. The course price includes all live lectures, unlimited platform access, written materials, recordings, practice videos, mentorship and email support. It does not include books, mats, props or other equipment.

No. The IAYT is a separate organisation and charges its own fees for certification, membership and other services. These are paid separately.

The exam is required for graduates of any IAYT-accredited programme who begin training on or after 1 July 2023 (earlier enrolments are exempt). Our fully accredited programme covers everything you need, so you'll be well prepared to take and pass it.

We recommend starting with the Yoga Therapy Foundation (100 hours), then scheduling most modules in any order you like. Thanks to our teaching methodology you can also start from any module at any time of year.

The 875-hour diploma adds two clinical modules (Cancer Patients & Ayurvedic Healing), the Ethical, Legal & Business Principles course and a Final Project, along with 14 case studies plus extra mentorship and peer supervision, and qualifies you for IAYT certification. The 625-hour covers the same core clinical modules with 5 case studies and 5 mentorship hours, and you can transfer up to the 875-hour later.
