The specific props that will be used in the module will vary depending on the subject being discussed and the needs of the students and clients. However, some of the most common props that are used in Yoga Therapy include yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, cushions, chairs, eye pillows, straps, blocks, and exercise balls.

If you don’t have all of the props, don’t worry! You can improvise with household items. For example, you can use a rolled-up towel instead of a bolster or a pillow instead of a block.

The purpose of the assessment is to gather information about the client so that you can develop a personalised Yoga Therapy session. After the assessment, you’ll be asked to write a report to help you to reflect on your experience.
