To complete this module, you’ll participate in a practical assignment in which you’ll practice how to conduct a client intake, a physical and breathing assessment, and carry out a description of a case study in writing. You’ll receive the guidelines and information you need during the module from your teachers.

The purpose of the assessment is to gather information about the client so that you can develop a personalised Yoga Therapy session. After the assessment, you’ll be asked to write a report to help you to reflect on your experience.

We recommend that you attend week 1 and 2 in order. Week 1 introduces you to the foundational principles of Yoga Therapy, while week 2 is a highly practical module where you get to put all that information into practice. If you skip week 1, you may not have the foundation you need to understand the material in week 2. Additionally, the practical exercises in week 2 will be more meaningful if you have already learned the theory in week 1.

At The Yoga Therapy Institute we are committed to providing accessible learning experiences for all students. If you have a disability and need accommodations, please feel free to contact us.
