Day 1

    • Understanding the physiology of Type 2 Diabetes
    • Recognising signs and symptoms of Prediabetes and Diabetes

Day 2

  • Date: Thursday 4th July  2024

    • Standard medical treatments: medications, lifestyle changes, and monitoring
    • Contraindications and guidance on safely and effectively recognising and handling low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) situations

Day 3

  • Date: Friday 5th July 2024
  • Time: 16.00 hrs – 18.00 hrs (CET) (Local time zone converter)
    • Modifying Yoga Therapy practices for varying abilities and limitations (including individuals with amputations)
    • Trauma-informed communication regarding lifestyle factors (weight, diet, smoking, and exercise) within the scope of practice
