Caroline Kila C-IAYT

Caroline Kila is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, breathing/pranayama and Yoga teacher.

She has been teaching since 2004 when she took her first teacher training with Paul Dallaghan and was fortunate to learn traditional pranayama with Sri O.P. Tiwari from Kaivalydhama Health and Yoga Research Center.

She then went on to complete RYT 500 and 1100 hours, and has continued to study Pranayama and breathing practices with Tiwari ever since. She has also followed yearly workshops/training with Doug Keller, Judith Lasiter, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Dena Kingsberg, Richard Freeman, and Tias Little to name a few.

Caroline Kila also founded Yoga Manila in 2005, taught in Australia, Mexico, Japan and co-founded ashtanga-yoga-Lausanne, Switzerland in 2014.

As a certified Yoga Therapist since 2016, she has been working at the CHUV (University of Lausanne Hospital), and in her private practice. She has worked with numerous clients from adolescent to geriatric, with various issues from scoliosis, cancer, burnout, anxiety, depression, vertigo, pregnancy, asthma, autoimmune diseases and many more.

In 2019 she moved to Estoril, Portugal, which is where she is now based. She has included online therapy sessions since the onset of the pandemic, which have been amazingly effective.

When she is not devoting her life to working with her clients, teaching breathing and Yoga, or doing her own practice, you can find Caroline spending time with her husband and their four boys, family and friends, skiing in the Swiss mountains, enjoying the ocean, hiking, horse riding and playing paddle tennis.
