Marleen Jansen C-IAYT
Marleen Jansen is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist based in The Netherlands. She is an experienced member of the teaching faculty at the Yoga Therapy Institute and works as a teacher, mentor and case study supervisor for the school. Her Yoga Nidra offerings are legendary, inducing sublime relaxation and are fondly referred to by our staff and students as “The Marleen effect”.
Esther van der Sande
Esther van der Sande is a somatic neuro-psychotherapist (MA), EMDR therapist, trauma therapist, Yoga Therapist, TCTSY-facilitator and a faculty member at the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at JRI Boston and trainer & supervisor of the Certification Program of TCTSY. Esther’s caring, knowledgeable and sensitive teachings provide an invaluable resource for integrating trauma sensitive principles into Yoga Therapy practices.
Caroline Kila C-IAYT
Caroline Kila is an experienced C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and pranayama yoga teacher and brings her extensive knowledge of many diverse health issues to the curriculum of The Yoga Therapy Institute and to the students, as a mentor and case study supervisor.
Britta Dezillie C-IAYT
Britta Dezillie is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and holds a doctorate in physics (Phd). She brings inspirational insights on her work with people with disabilities, older adults and minority populations.
Manouk Tideman C-IAYT
Manouk Tideman is an IAYT-certified Yoga Therapist and E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher with a gift for teaching in an interactive, non-dogmatic, science-based manner.

Arwa Rangwala introduces therapeutic understanding and practices for the grief & loss life processes at The Yoga Therapy for the Reproductive System, Family Dynamics and the Ageing Process module.

Suze Retera
Suze Retera is an experienced psychologist and yoga teacher specialized in Yoga Nidra, fascia work, auto-immune disease and nervous system issues. In her teaching, she combines her knowledge of the physical and the psychological aspects of healing into an empowering, holistic approach.
Coen Van der Kroon
Coen Van der Kroon, founder and director of The Academy of Ayurvedic Studies (AAS) is also program director of the Delight Academy Ayurveda. He will be joining us as the lead teacher of the Ayurveda & Yoga Studies Foundation Module, part of the 850-hour diploma course.
Liese Van Dam
Liese Van Dam has the rare quality of a true therapist. She connects with her clients and she explains even the most complex subjects in a simple and easy- to- digest way. Lisa jointly presents the Ayurveda for Yoga Therapy module, which is a required module for the 850-hour diploma course at the Yoga Therapy institute.
Violet Borneman
Violet Borneman is a research scientist, biochemist and Yoga Therapist in training, who makes scientific research accessible for everyone. Violet is the science and research teacher at the Yoga Therapy Institute, showing students how to analyze and apply scientific research articles to increase their knowledge and to support their Yoga Therapy practice.
