Whilst living in New Zealand, Britta was inspired by the Māori culture and adopted “Pikorua”, the spiral of simple life, where the body joins the mind. She continuous to educate herself with the aim of helping people heal by adapted physical movements, breathing techniques and relaxation.
Britta believes that Yoga should be accessible for all. In this context she organised the “Yoga Festival for All” at the Swiss/French border from 2016 to 2019, including parent-baby Yoga, child Yoga, chair Yoga for seniors and people with limited mobility.
Britta further enjoys working as a one-on-one Yoga Therapist as well as bringing Yoga Therapy and wellbeing to the office and workplace.
Britta is a nature person who loves travelling and settling in different countries, but her harbour remains “La Renardière” (the fox burrow), a 400-year-old farmhouse in France, where she lives with her husband and her two wonderful daughters and welcomes her friends and students for Yoga Therapy, well-being workshops, aqua wellness and cooking classes, using fresh produce from the farm.
