Britta teaches students from around the globe how to maintain a balanced life by lengthening the spine and creating space in the entire body. She is well-known for her inspiring real-life case studies, bringing valuable insights on her work with people with disabilities, older adults and minority populations.

Whilst living in New Zealand, Britta was inspired by the Māori culture and adopted “Pikorua”, the spiral of simple life, where the body joins the mind. In New Zealand Britta also began her Yoga journey at the Ashram Yoga in Ohui, followed by Accessible Yoga Teacher Training by Jivana Heyman. She continuous to educate herself with the aim of helping people heal by adapted physical movements, breathing techniques and relaxation.

Britta believes that Yoga should be accessible for all. In this context she organised the “Yoga Festival for All” at the Swiss/French border from 2016 to 2019, including parent-baby Yoga, child Yoga, chair Yoga for seniors and people with limited mobility.

Britta further enjoys working as a one-on-one Yoga Therapist as well as bringing Yoga Therapy and wellbeing to the office and workplace.

Britta is a nature person who loves travelling and settling in different countries, but her harbour remains “La Renardière” (the fox burrow), a 400-year-old farmhouse in France, where she lives with her husband and her two wonderful daughters and welcomes her friends and students for Yoga Therapy, well-being workshops, aqua wellness and cooking classes, using fresh produce from the farm.
